Barry Oakley is the president, founder, and owner of Oakley Construction Inc., a Nashville-based commercial concrete and construction company serving clients throughout Middle Tennessee.

Construction has always been part of Barry’s life. His father, Bill Oakley, established his first construction business in 1947 and built his reputation by working hard, keeping his word, and treating people fairly. Inspired by those principles, Barry founded Oakley Construction in 1995 with the goal of building a company known equally for the quality of its work and the character of its people.

Throughout more than 30 years of leadership, Barry has remained committed to conducting business the right way. He believes integrity should never be exchanged for a lower price, a successful bid, or a short-term advantage. That philosophy influences how Oakley Construction approaches its clients, employees, project partners, and every jobsite.

Under Barry’s direction, Oakley Construction has completed more than 1,500 projects and developed a skilled team capable of delivering commercial concrete contracting, construction management, tilt-up concrete, design-build, site grading, general contracting, and tenant-finish services. His hands-on, relationship-focused leadership has helped the company earn the trust of general contractors, developers, and business owners across the region.

For Barry, a successful project is measured by more than its final appearance. It must be completed safely, built to last, and supported by honest communication and personal accountability. These principles remain central to Oakley Construction and the legacy Barry continues to build.
